Institute for Emergency Medical Services
Northeastern University's Institute for Emergency Medical Services has a world-wide reputation as a premier provider of pre-hospital emergency medical services education. In the last 25 years, the Institute has trained over 45,000 emergency medical professionals in hundreds of programs from the basic to most advanced levels.
We currently offer EMT-Basic courses each winter, spring, summer, and fall and start new Paramedic Training programs each January and July. We also offer a series of EMS Continuing Education courses beginning each January and July.
The Institute is housed in Burlington, Massachusetts - 15 miles Northwest of Boston.
